Winning is a habit which breeds success.

Back in 1972 Trojans Basketball Club was formed (under a different name) and little could the founding fathers have imagined that the membership, by 2017 would be around the 100 mark.

Subsequently, the focus has changed but throughout this, and the previous decade three men’s, one ladies and an under 19 side maintained the membership levels at just under this figure as the oldest club in Coventry reached its 45th birthday.

sadly the young side was dismantled but the Club is considering the possibility of bringing this back sometime in the future.

LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD, COVID-19 STRUCK TO DECIMATE ALL THOUGHTS OF RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL LEAGUE AND THE WARWICKSHIRE ASSOCIATION WAS NO EXCEPTION. ALL COMPETITIONS WERE CURTAILED AND ONLY STARTED UP AGAIN IN LIMITED FORMATS DURING LATE 2021.

AS THE CLUB ENTERS ITS 50TH YEAR, THE TRUNCATED SEASON IS MATURING AND ALL THREE MEN’S TEAMS CONTINUE BUT THE LADIES COMPETITION AND THOUGHTS OF JUNIORS ARE ON HOLD.

HOWEVER…..THE FUTURE BECKONS!
