COVENTRY'S PREMIER BASKETBALL CLUB Since 1972

Winning is a habit which breeds success.

Back in 1972 Trojans Basketball Club was formed (under a different name) and little could the founding fathers have imagined that the membership, by 2017 would be around the 100 mark.

Subsequently, the focus has changed but throughout this decade three men’s, one ladies and an under 19 side maintained the membership levels at just under this figure as the oldest club in Coventry reached its 45th birthday.

sadly the young side was dismantled but plans are in hand to bring this back in the future.

As the club enters the 2018-19 season our first team will be defending the WBA Division One title once again but they lost out in their hunt for the to rival Arden. Trojans 2 were successful as were the veterans and Trojans’ ladies won the Leicestershire League play-offs. Our two top sides are now sitting at either end of the re-vamped Division One table and our Walking Basketball group goes from strength to strength on Sunday mornings.

Another busy season awaits . . . . . . . . .
