Trojans 3, fielding just six players went down 49-25 to Tamworth Tigers in a low-key affair at Hereward.
They had nine in the morning but following the withdrawal of two players and the non-arrival of another the six man team performed well in the first period to close 10-13. but that was the end of any heroics as they managed to score just six in the next two quarters.
leading as usual was Mike Buckley but everyone’s shooting was off target. Buckley hit 15 with Oleg Petrenko making two threes for a six point tally.
Andy Dickson (pictures last season) started – and finished on court for the whole 40 minutes he provided some great passes throughout.
