Firsts crash – Hawks Champions

A final day defeat at Arden cost Trojans 1 their fourth successive title and handed it to arch rivals Aylesford Hawks.
Trojans went down 91-71 to a vastly improved Griffins side from the one whipped last week, but Trojans did not turn in their best display of the season, allowing Dan Opoku – back in the Arden side the chance to turn the screw.
Coach Mark Reynolds was ill , Lucas Nalewajka injured leaving Trojans with just five fit men on court and they failed to hit the heady heights, signalling the end of their reign.
