the scoreline looks emphatic, but trojans 1 had to work throughout a sticky third quarter to secure all the points in their penultimate game before beating Arden Griffins 102-74.
it was all trojans in the first half which they closed out at 56-30, but Griffins startedthe second well and hit 11 without reply to stir the home side into life. Arden won the quarter by eight but the gap was too much to bridge and the champions elect eased through the fourth to win easily in the end.
Rich Onioins led on 25, Ross Emery nailed 24 and Scotty Owen 21, after Joel Stephenson had hit 17 in the first half.
