Trojans first team smashed Warwick Bears 106-40 in the first of three consecutive meetings.
they play each other in the two-leg Handicap Cup Plate competition semi-final starting next week but the way they began their first outing set the tone for the evening.
Leading 17-0 after four minutes they eased back slightly but still had far too much for a Young Bears side stripped of the services of Joel de Lara Bond and Calvin Moore.
Bond has a broken wrist which should help the handicap games where Bears have a 35 point start.
Scott led on 26 with Rich on 23 and Ross making 18.
