Both the second and third teams went down to narrow defeats with the seconds losing in the final seconds to Tamworth Tigers.
locked together on 38 all the lads had the chance to win it but turned the ball over before Tamworth cashed in to win by three.
the veterans were in front for much of their game with Henley Hurricanes but failed to close it out before losing Mike Buckley with a fractured and dislocated finger, and they could not put in that finishing touch, going down 36-39.
